How It Works
Networking Events
The networking events are free and available only to startups that are part of the Amcham Arena community (upon completion of a simple form).
These activities include in-person meetings, speed networking sessions, thematic roundtables, public calls, workshops, and virtual events.
Participation and engagement in networking events can earn Arenitos. Check out the upcoming events in the Calendar section.
Arenitos: What They Are and Their Importance
Arenitos are a fictional value currency within the community, serving as a recognition mechanism for Startups. Startups earn Arenitos as they connect with executives or are evaluated by them during any part of the process. These Arenitos are the entry currency for the second phase of the Amcham Arena competition; those who have acquired the most “currency” will advance to the competition's evaluation stage.

O Amcham Arena has evolved and transformed into a completely free community, focused on connecting entrepreneurs like you to a wide range of opportunities. By being part of our community, you will have exclusive access to a variety of events, mentorships, and business opportunities that can boost the growth of your Startup.
Arenito is a fictional currency within the Amcham Arena Community. Within the community, Startups have the mission to acquire Arenitos by connecting with members and/or closing deals within our ecosystem. Throughout the journey, Startups can exchange their Arenitos for various benefits within the community, the most significant being securing a spot in the Amcham Arena Competition, which has now become an opportunity within the community.
There are two ways for Startups to acquire Arenitos in the community:
- Closing Deals with Our Ecosystem.
- Networking Events: Amcham Arena will host a series of networking events where Startups will have the opportunity to interact with executives and community members. During these events, executives will have the freedom to distribute "Arenitos" to the Startups that capture their attention the most.
This dynamic is a way to encourage networking and connections during events promoted by Amcham Arena or similar initiatives.
- Participate Actively:Be present at events, workshops, webinars, and other activities offered by the community. Networking is key, so take advantage of these opportunities to connect with other community members, executives, investors, and potential business partners.
- Keep an Eye on Your Emails:Email will be the official communication channel of the community. We will send invitations to events, connection opportunities, and other updates through email. Make sure you’ve registered the correct email, the one you frequently check.
- Engage in Public Calls:Stay attentive to public calls relevant to your sector or business model and sign up whenever possible. Prepare thoroughly to present your startup in a clear, concise, and appealing manner.
- Actively Participate in Connection Rounds:Be proactive during connection rounds, presenting your startup impactfully and demonstrating how your solution can address specific problems of the executives or investors present.
- Seek Mentorship:Take advantage of the mentorship programs offered by the community to gain guidance and feedback from experts. This can help refine your business model, marketing strategy, product development, among other aspects.
- Collaborate and Learn:Be open to collaborating with other startups, sharing experiences, learnings, and resources. The community is a collaborative environment where everyone can benefit from collective knowledge.
- Complete Your Executive Summary:By completing the Executive Summary, you further increase your chances of making relevant connections within the Community. Whenever companies like Citi, Ingredion, Accenture, and Gerdau seek Amcham for solutions to their challenges, the first place we search is through the Executive Summary.
Yes! The Amcham Arena competition still exists, but it has become one of the possibilities within the Community. To participate, the Startup must have acquired Arenitos during the community journey and also have its executive summary completed.
Public calls are targeted searches for startups operating in specific sectors or having certain characteristics, inviting them to apply to participate in events, programs, or business opportunities within the Amcham Arena community.
These calls usually have a specific focus, such as an industry sector, a business model, a technology, or an area of innovation. For example, there may be a public call for ESG startups, Health startups, Urban Mobility startups, among other areas.
